Annotation
Originally "Ma mie", words and music by Jamblan, who performed it on stage in the thirties. Brought to the United States by Jean Sablon it then became a huge success as "All of a Sudden My Heart Sings", with english lyrics by Harold Rome. After the war, the original lyricist, Jamblan, wrote new french lyrics on his original tune, based on the english version and retitled the song to "En écoutant mon cœur chanter"
