This was the re-released version of 'Like a Virgin' in 1985 which included the huge hit, 'Into the Groove' from the movie 'Desperately Seeking Susan'. Ironically this track was not included on the original soundtrack

The original released version contained only 9 tracks released on November 12, 1984.

In 2001 the album was remastered, having the original track listing without 'Into The Groove' but included extended dance mixes of 'Like a Virgin' & 'Material Girl' as bonus tracks.
