sasando (Indonesian tube zither)

Beschreibung

Made of palmyra leaves that act as a resonator and a bamboo-tube stuck with wooden pegs where the plucked strings are attached, this traditional Indonesian instrument has an important place in folk history. It is still being used and modernised.
