Annotation

Founded in 1986 after Lezlie Paice split up and Håkan Ljungtegen and Lars TC Anderson teamed up with Carsten Rickermann and Mike Bengtsson to form Avenue, later renamed Tinsel Avenue.

The band recorded their first EP 87th & Rock at Studioljudet Studio in Ale on the Swedish West Coast in 1987. A year later they went back and recorded a second EP, not released to date. The played lots of shows around the Swedish west coast during these years but has been on a hiatus since 1989 when all but Mike left for California, USA.
