"Recorded between November 2015 and May 2016, Expugnantis takes a style more suitable for the dance floor to the outdoors of subtropical North America. 'Ego & Anxiety' attempts to evoke the feeling one may experience on a humid, hazy mid-summer evening at dusk (ideal listening environment). Perhaps an elixir of sorts for those looking to escape cold and dry climates, 'Ego & Anxiety' shouldn't be confused for tropical house. Rather, this piece is to geographically specific in nature for such labels. Instead, take it, feel it as you allow yourself to, involuntarily."
