Annotation
"A Day in Pompeii" is the award winning soundtrack to the internationally successful museum exhibition of the same name.
The soundtrack captures the ghostly presence of Pompeii which was destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79AD.
A Day in Pompeii first opened in Melbourne in 2009 with an attendance of 330,000 people (an average of 2,700 per day) making it the most popular travelling exhibition ever staged by an Australian museum. The exhibition is still traveling the world today.
