Born Adekunle Musa on October 5, 1994, in Ogun State, Nigeria, OBK Agba hails from a culturally rich Yoruba family where music was more than just entertainment—a way of life. Growing up in a polygamous household, he was deeply influenced by the rhythmic storytelling traditions of his people, shaping his love for music from an early age. Inspired by legendary artists like Sade Adu, Sikiru Adepoju, and Burna Boy, OBK Agba developed a sound that seamlessly blends Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, and Amapiano, creating a unique musical identity that resonates across cultures.

OBK Agba’s passion for music took root during his teenage years when he honed his songwriting and vocal skills through local talent shows and church performances. His breakthrough moment arrived in 2023 with the release of his debut single, “Another Day”, an infectious track that quickly gained traction for its rhythmic hooks and storytelling. This success propelled him into the spotlight, setting the stage for his rise as a new voice in the Afro-global music scene. Over the years, OBK Agba has worked with some of the biggest names in the Afrobeats industry, including renowned producers Olakira and Tobs Beat. He has also collaborated with media houses like Temmies Entertainment, Asotech Entertainment, and LJ Entertainment, further solidifying his presence in the industry. His live performances have been electrifying, often arranged by Breakthrough from PMAN, and he has consistently delivered unforgettable experiences at major music events.

In 2024, OBK Agba’s journey took a significant turn when he crossed paths with Isreal Amoo, the founder of Azure Voice. Recognizing his talent and potential, Azure Voice signed OBK Agba to a publishing deal in March 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career. With this partnership, he was officially crowned “The New Orlando of Africa”, a title that pays homage to his ability to blend traditional African sounds with modern musical elements.

OBK Agba’s much-anticipated debut EP, “New Born Boy”, is set to be released on June 27, 2025, with a live premiere on Twitch Network. The 6-track project showcases his versatility, featuring a mix of Thanksgiving anthems, party jams, and motivational sounds. With production credits from Olakira and Tobs Beat, the EP is positioned to make waves both locally and internationally.
